We trekked out to Fort Hood to see the museum of the first cavalry. Getting on base was an ordeal tantemount to penetrating the inner eschilons of the CIA. After being directed to two wrong entrances and being given the third degree, I finally found the entrace to the visitor pass entrance. The guards had me open all my doors (myself) and search round. We finally made our way the museum which was practically in the center of the base.
